週末にTK6終了。ご機嫌な高性能フード付クロークがもらえてうれしいわけです。見た目もダークサイドに落ちたジェダイのような格好良さなのですが、何よりもACが高いのがうれしい。
さて、TK6が終わるとLFGにも力が入らずに、とりあえずはLFGを立てながらも観光開始。thestra大陸での30前後の狩場は、大きく3箇所に分かれるようです。
・southwatch
targonorから西方向に行ったところ。一番人が多いようです。
new targonorとsouth watchの間にはoutpostもあり、questもいくつかあります。
・sleepin gmoon
VEの南、Kaon's Rushの東にあります。犬の生まれ故郷であるDahknargからさりげなく行くことができます。
廃人でないと終わらせられないという噂もあるマゾfac上げと、そのご褒美armor questが有名です。
questはsoloでできそうなのがありませんな。
・falgarholm
VEから北東の山奥にあるchunk。雪がちらついていましてQaliaから来た人にはうれしい風景かもしれません。気分はhalas。
TKからのお使いクエストがあったので行ってみましたが、過疎地でした。日曜昼間も夜も、chunk内に20人いません。w
さて、questをもらってmobを見てみると、どこも28では厳しい内容。falgarholmがyellowとredなのでよさげですが、いかんせん人がいなくてgroupngできません。southwatchもsleepin moonも、30over限定LFMばかりで、28では雇ってもらえなさげです。
TKでquest進めてる人のhelpをしながらexp稼ぐのがいいのかなぁ?とか思いながらも散策していると、new targonorからsouth watchに向かう途中にquest NPC発見。虐殺系のquestですが、対象の狼や蜘蛛がyellow。なんとかsoloでいけそうです。
試してみると、効率はともかく、questはできそうなのでやってみます。いくつかの連続クエストになってまして、shmならなんとかなる内容が続き、small groupのquestもstealthと逃げ足を駆使してなんとか完了。最後にoutpostに行ってみるとquest NPCが留守だったという悲しいオチも付きましたが。
/lfgしたままですが、tellは来ないまま終了。healerが余り気味なのか適切なchunkにいなかったからなのか。TKでLFMを見ててもtank募集かダメージソース募集がほとんどでしたねぇ。まぁEQでMagをやっていた頃を思えば・・・。
さて、rakurr shmの持つstealthですがinvisのような魔法ではなく、hideとsneak skillに依存した能力です。
どちらもstealthしてmobの視線の通るところをウロウロするとあがります。しかしながら、shmの仕事柄、groupだとskillはあがりません。というか、stealthしてmobの視線の通るところをウロウロしてたら普通はkickされます。更にinvisに比べて使い勝手が悪すぎですねぇ。移動速度が50% down。見破られるかどうかはskillとmobのレベルによる判定。スキル100あっても、RKの蟻塚でばれまくり。。。もうね。。。
ということでstealthを楽しみに犬shmを選んだ同胞の遠吠えはvanguaedshaman.comにこだましています。

ここによると、レベルスキル上限だと同等以下のmobにはstealthは有効。でも一つレベルが上のmobには50%。二つレベルが上のmobにはほとんど無効。これはrogも同じらしいですが、はっきり言って使えねえ。w
それとやっぱり、skillがあがらないことの愚痴が多いですね。私は130まで灰色mob団体の周りをウロウロして上げましたが気力がもちません。上げたとしても、格下mobのウロウロするところにsoloで行く位しか使わないような気もしていますが。
うーん、rogの強化のついでに、stealthに上方修正が入るのを待つしかないですねぃ。

Yes, we’ve had these letters too (triggered by our constant visits to A&E with my daughter). I know the system is designed to pick up vulnerable kids, but it never seems to occur to them that the parents have no idea when social services have been alerted, so these letters arrive out of the blue like bombshells. It’s a real failure of empathy. Incidentally, we’ve had the exact same letter when we’ve been *seeking* the involvement of social services – it’s also the standard brush-off letter – and it is just as irritating if you get it when you’re coming at it from the side, so to speak! Not much consolation though.

This comment really resonates with me. I have remarked many times that I’ve lived all over – NYC, LA, Londin, Paris, Jerusalem. None of those places has come anywhere close to the culture shock of living in rural Wisconsin. I agree, smartiebabie. We live in a society where women’s bodies are used as marketing tools. The female form ( and the male form BTW) are beautiful, but the message that is sent is that we must either have bodies, like these bodies used for advertising, or we are unworthy. That whole inner conflict distracts us from the real problem–that we don’t feel our bodies are our own. We are used to seeing woman’s naked form in so many situations that it doesn’t phase anyone to see it being tortured. It’s not right.
